Know Someone in Recovery? Honor Them This Month

Recovery Month 2022 logoIt’s never been more important to celebrate our victories and encourage each other to keep going. For those in recovery from substance use and mental health conditions, it’s a long-held practice. National Recovery Month is an annual observance in September devoted to that idea.

During the month of September, the TMF joins organizations across the country to focus on promoting and supporting new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the emergence of a strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and community members across the nation who make recovery in all its forms possible.

This year, celebrate National Recovery Month by honoring someone special with a gift supporting the important work of the TMF. Recovery is the gift you are giving, as shared by one of our physician graduates:

I have seen the effects of my addiction not only in myself but also in other members of my family. I have also seen the sobriety and healing that have come during my recovery in myself and my family members. I want these gifts for other addicts and their families.

Please give today in the name of someone in recovery, someone instrumental in your own recovery, or who is engaged in this important work. Your tax-deductible gift will help those in crisis find hope, healing, and health once again.
