The Tennessee Medical Foundation has launched its spring campaign entitled “Stories,” sharing personal accounts of how the TMF’s Physician’s Health Program (PHP) has helped restore program participants to health, their families and their practices.
The anonymous stories, collected from past and current PHP participants and program supporters, help illustrate the need for a comprehensive, rehabilitation-focused program for doctors and other health professionals who succumb to addiction or have emotional or mental health issues and other personal struggles.
The self-reply mailer went out on June 23 to current, past and potential supporters, volunteers and health-related entities across the state of Tennessee.
